went into an area i havent hunted for nearly 3 years.. and i guess letting spots sit helps.. got into the woods at 430 with my climber.. went to my usual area where i had a hang on a few years ago.. the thickest stuff i could find.. sat there till 6..and i was like sure why not.. little light rattling never hurt no1.. no sooner did i get done.. and the pig of a deer comes charging out of the clear cut.. snort wheezin..ears back.. started rippin up trees infront of me.. then a button buck walked under my stand... well he wanted no on that.. he charged the button buck and stood at 8 yards.. he was not the biggest head geared animal i was hunting. but the show he put on was worth it. he is by far the biggest bodied deer ive ever taken or seen in my area.. we scaled him at 245 dressed weight.. im 6'3 and he is longer and me from head to butt.. he is a 8 point.. but sadly his other side wasnt there or he would have been a typical 12 point. pics will come tomorrow as soon as i get good light..
