Default Need some help

Two weeks before archery season and my arrow rest breaks on me!!!

I have done a little research but not enough to know exactly what I want. What's the best drop away rest out there? I'm leaning towards the QAD but don't know enough about them.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

its sounds like you are on the right track, I would either recommend QAD or Ripcord. I have the RipCord Code Red and love it, I've sent thousands of arrows thru it with absolutely no problems!

Whisker Biscuit. I've been using them since they first came out. I've never had one break. No moving parts to break. Good Luck on your choice.

Go with the ripcord. I had the QAD and brought it back because how loud it was and it didnt seem to get out of the way fast enough. It coulda been the jack leg that installed it, but i love my code red.

I like the QAD and have set up many of them. Get the Pro Series HD. To get it to drop away faster attach it lower down the cable. It comes with a DVD for setup as well. I serve my cord on, instead of using the plastic clamp but the clamp is fine.

What I had on my bow was the Montana Black Gold Free Fall rest. It was an inertia rest that caused the launcher to fall when the bow was fired. The problem im having is that it is noisier then crap. It never use to be that way but now it is. I tried to dampen the noise by adding mole skin to the inside, but it didn't really help. If anyone has ever used this rest and had the same problem please offer some advise. I really like this rest and don't like the idea of having a cord raise my launcher.
