Default The corn is comin down fast in IL

It's the same in INDIANA .The farmers are hitting it hard
.I just hope they get the corn out where i hunt come oct 1st .

I drove back up to Chicago from Tn on I-57 today & there were a lot of cut fields & combines rolling on a lot of the other corn fields. I don't remember the last time it was cut so early. Hope it helps my buck sightings!!

This is crazy early. They have been hard at it for a week and a half in Crawford Co. IL. As long as we don't get any hard rain it should all be out by opening day.

Good for you. They aren't near picking it yet around here. Most of the farmers around here don't do silage, just picked and shelled. They wait for it to dry as long as they can and then most have their own dryers. Every year there are a few fields that don't get picked and they sit in the snow all winter.
