Default Hopefully all the hard work pays off

Man guys its been a while since ive posted. Im a newly engaged man (and yes she lets me hunt) Ive just been working hard to get the new play toys payed off. Our farm just picked up some more ground and the one tract has 75ac. of hard woods that holds a ton of deer, im pretty excited about that already have stands hung and 2 food plots in and on out 80 ac. tract we just put in a new food plot and a small pond so we now have 2 food plots on it. Im hoping our hard work pays off this year. What have some of you other guys been doing to get ready for the start of season?

What do you mean "she lets me hunt"? If hunt is what you did before the relationship then your supposed to tell them "I hunt" and if the don't like it and leave, so be it. I talk to a lot of guys that always say, "my wife won't let me put any mounts up", there again BS! They always say to me, how are able to have so many mounts on your wall? Because I want them up and if the wife disapproves, I tell her not to let the door hit her in the a** on the way out.

I hunt hard but I also keep time for the family. Just because your wife doesn't mind you hunting doesn't mean you should just dump her until season ends. My wife knows that I loved hunting and she understands the passion I have but it's also selfish to put them on the back burner fro 3 or 4 months. Just keep Saturday afternoon or some other day open for family. There's more to life than hunting.

ahhhhh newly weds...that was a fun time.

i would be sure the plots and the ponds will pay off...keepin the ponds full should be fun...well fer us anyways..day 16 or somethin of 100 degree weather and no rain..
we noticed the deer pop grow 100% after installin the plots, which are little at best..one is 20 feet by 150-200 yards, the other a whopping 20 feet by 30 feet..the work was excruciating here..

how bout puttin up a cam? and some pics already?
