Default bedding areas?

How do u find bedding areas for deer? I'm gonna b scouting out some new land. Soon. Just looking for some tips.

Bucks usally have holes in the pillows, while does just leave little hairs stuck in theirs. No, really, at night deer like to bed on the top of ridges (if you have ridges) and during the day, about the thickest brush around. Alot of times they bed down on field edges, cut overs, and CRP. It sounds pretty generic, but true!
