ok could i take a black garbage bag and fill it with cardboard and shoot it with feild point heads

id advise against it. local shooting ranges often have archery targets. Maybe you'd be better off with that

You can buy bag targets for around $30-$40 and they will last awhile. I have a morrel bag target thats about 3yr old and has had a ton of arrows shot into it and it still stops the arrows. You can't beat a target that lasts 3 yrs for less than $40.
