You can expect to have fun. Shoot to have fun, winning is just the icing on the cake.
That is the best advice I and ever give someone that is into competition. I shot my first tourny in 1966 and was a freaking nervous wreck, since then I've shot tons, and do it because I love it. Don't worry about anything, you're there to do the best YOU can do.
One word I learned my dad a former olympic gold medal winner ( rifle)..
shoot what is in front of you, don't worry about the last one and don't think about the one ahead. Focus on the target you are shooting right now, nothing else matters in the whole world!
That has helped to be a better archer in all my years of competition.
