Haven't tried that one, but of all the hangon or climbing stands I've used over 3.5 decades the Summit Viper has been the most comfortable for me. And for what it's worth I have a bad back, too. I have sit most of the time.

I hear they are good for up to 4 hours of comfort but longer sets get tough.

If you want comfort in a stand either fixed or climber then you will not find one better than Millennium deer stands....give them a look.

X2 on the Summit Viper. Or the Goliath for that matter...have used both and they are both very comfortable. I have two thin discs in my back and have flare ups from time to time...have never had problems with these climbers.

Summit Goliath all the way! I have lower back pain that bothers me at the desk or in the truck after an hour of sitting. I can sit in my summit all day and still feel great 12 hours later.

Doc, if you want flat out comfort the Tree lounge cannot be beat.

you are , in a cross between a hammock and a recliner.

This stand has one huge draw back, staying awake.

The big rascal is a lot less intimidating to use than it looks.

The only stand I can hunt out of is a ladder stand, everything else hurts my back.
I hunt either a ladder stand or ground blind.
