set your blind out about 2 weeks before season let the deer get used to seeing it this is what me and dad do and we've had big old does and small bucks within 7 yard's and on the ground face to face with them at 7 yards and they have no clue you are their is a awsome feeling!

I used a ground blind a few times but haven't been succesful yet in harvesting a deer. I'm gonna try hard this year though. My grandpa is replacing a old old fence and he's taking out all of my good trees!! So I'm gonna get me a double bull and try it. I would really recommend getting a nice comfortable chair to sit in. Especially if your planning to sit long hours. A few snacks and drinks are nice too. It really helps to add twigs, leaves, grass, corn stalks, etc. on and around your blind to blend in better with your background. Always keep your backside as dark as possible so keep the blinds in back down

I have shot a couple deer out of a ground blind and you need two set it up and brush it in about two weeks before the season starts and you will have deer like 10 yards away.
