go to town or city hall . they have plat maps that will show the boundries of the land and the tax records will show the name and address of who owns it.
i've done this several times to find out info on property. Ask the clerk there most of the time they will walk you thru where the books are with the info.
plus you get to see where property lines are. it doesn't hurt to get the nieghbors info as well. sometimes you can expand your hunting area beyond that one piece of land

Or go to the county seat and buy a platmap, probably about $30, and it'll show who owns each property, give thier name, address and phone number for the whole county.
