It all depends on your bow. You need to get an arrow that is correctly spined for your bow. There is no 1 arrow that works in every situation.

yeah there isn't a single "perfect" arrow to use. what i did was took my bow to a archery shop and they directed me to what arrows i should be using, i had a choice of a few different ones so they told me which ones would be best. they also cut the arrows to the correct length and i was all set.

Default If the best, by far, really exist

you'd know it by the sky high price. And if you're a newbie, you might not be able to afford it.

Just my observation and personal opinion.

Over the years, I knew fishermen and hunters who used adequate and were some of the best, at what they did.
I rather see someone use what is adequate for their talent, rather than attempting to achieve the unbelievable with the so called "best of the best."

Yeah I like sharp ones. Sharp and pointy. So sharp you could shave with them. With pretty colored feathers too. I think they call the feathers veins.

I hate to be a killjoy, but the original question was about what arrow to use. This has nothing to do with broadheads.

As the first couple guys said, any arrow will work so long as it is properly spined for your setup and the equipment is tuned properly.
