You will have to get on the Iowa dnr website to see how and when to apply. Your chances are slim to none to be drawed the first couple of years. Its normally the third year before you get a tag, you get points every time you apply or you can just buy them then apply for a tag. Check the website for all the expensive details. It will cost you a cool $500 or more for a tag.
