Give me your opinion on arrow size

I ordered my new Z7 at 28 inch and 60 lbs limbs, I'm thinking of shooting a Easton Epic 500 with it. Do you think that the 500 is to light, they weigh 7.3 GPI, or should I go with the 8.6 GPI 400?

Weight should not be a deciding factor in choosing the correct arrow.

Proper SPINE should be.

Agree..spine is way too light with the 500

You need 400s for sure and you really ain't far from needing 340s. I've had bows that I've set up with 28" arrows (I'm a 29 draw usually) and found that 400s with 100gr heads gave me a weak reaction... went up to 340s with 125s and had laser beams.

If you would like to shoot a lighter arrow, Eastons Flatlines are a pretty good bet.

Assuming you are shooting 27.5" shafts, with 100gr tips, and 2" blazers, the 400's spine out fine, just a touch weaker than I personally like, but 340's in the same setup will spine out way too stiff.

As mentoned, the 400 would be the correct Easton Spine for your set-up. Go to the Easton site and download their shaft selction programs.
