Default Range Finder for Archery hunitng

I mostly archery hunt and I never have used a rangefinder due to the price of them. However I was on the Cabelas website and seen they had the VLR II made by Bushnell on sell. I also had a mailer for $20 off. I went to purchase it and they also had a $30 promotional discount on them so I was able to purchase this reange finder for $144 after shipping. I am not sure how well this unit will work but for me using it 90% of the time less than 60 yards I don't think I will have to many problems. This does have the ARC or whatever bushnell refers to it.

Anyway I thought I would give you all a heads up just in case there is someone out there like me that always looked at them and didn't want to spend $200 or more. I will let you know how it works once I get a chance to try it in the trees.

The Leupold RX-IV is pretty decent for the price! If you are hunting on steep terrain or in mountainous terrain, I would suggest the ARC or what ever equivalent. If you are just shooting from a tree stand on flat ground, it is not a necessity.
