Default this years bow story

i just thought id share a a story from this past hunting season. during this past bow season i had been seeing this 9 pointer that was in my eyes was a nice deer. i saw him i think a total of 8 times while hunting. every time i would see him he would be about 100 yards crossing a field with about 3 foot tall grass and never give me a shot until the last day of the bow season and a day before muzzleloader season. he came out at a different field with some does about id say 500 yards from the other field where i had been seeing him previously through the woods. he came out at about 70 yards and was eating and i sat and watched him for id say about 20 Minutes, he got as close as 60 yards then he went the other way, i thought he was gonna get away again. then about 5 minutes later he came back trailing a doe and i didnt see him coming so i didnt have a chance to range him so i drew back and shot and immediately i knew i had missed because he just ran about 30 yards and stopped and started to eat again. then he went the way the went the first time agian trailing the doe and then came back on the same path but this time he was walking so i got a chance to range him, 41 yards. i knew it was a long shot for me but i decided to give it a go anyway and shot and missed again but this time he ran and didnt come back. the next day was the opening day of muzzleloader and i knew if he wasnt so spooked from the the day before he would be in the same area. so the next morning i went back to the spot where i had been seeing him at first. i had been sitting there about an hour and a half it was about an hour after light and i saw him coming out the woods about 250 yards away and he got about 150 yards from me and bedded down. i sat there and after he bedded down all i could see was his antlers. he got up about every hour and then would bed back down then finally at 5:30 in the evening he got up and headed in a thicket. he came out on my side of it about 100 yards away and when he got in a good spot i stopped him and made the shot he ran back in the thicket about 30 yards from where i shot and went down. i got in that tree stand at 6am and shot him at 6:10 pm, boy what a day. he ended up being a 17 1/2 inch wide 9 pt. when i shot at him with the bow i was in a old building shooting out a hole i cut out in the wall id say is about a foot 1/2 by foot 1/2. i made the hole to shoot out of with a gun sitting down so when i stood up to shoot with the bow i had to bend down to see through it and i was wondering if that could have affected my shot. i am not trying to blame me missing on me having to bend down but was curious about what yall think.
