Default Loan Wold Sit & Climb

Just picked up this climber on sale at Dick's this year... on clearance for $289.99. My buddy's swear by the Loan Wolf stands. Any feedback?

Way over priced if you ask me, there are a ton of quality tree stand products out there that do that same thing... I am a huge fan of the gorilla treestands, there are not the bad on the check book and have proved to have great quality!

Ahh, the Lone Wolf. Lots of good reviews on them on this site, many swear by Lone Wolf. I thought for a second there you had actually bought the Loan Wold brand, which we all know is junk.

$289 is a pretty good deal. I picked up the sit & climb this year too. I've been extremely impressed with how quiet it is setting up and climbing. I love the comfort of my Summit, but it was a loud stand.

Great price. I haven't seen or used a better stand (I have the hand climber and the S&C uppers). HOW it packs and rides is a big key to my reviews. Unmatched, IMO.

Good luck with your new purchase.

Question....

THE price is $289.

That's over-priced? Compared to what?

The summit Viper is about the same price ($279 from what I have seen). That is summit's most popular climber so tell me which model by summit makes $289 seem overpriced?

I agree that Lone Wolf is overpriced, but he got a great deal at $289, and I have to ask this; Have you ever used a Lone Wolf or have you simply looked at the price tag and dismissed it as not worth the money?
