Default Practice BH for turkey??

Last night I was talking with a gentleman about turkey hunting with a bow. He told me he was thinking about using his G5 Montec practice blades for turkey. He stated that the regular hunting blade pass through the turkeys to easily and he wanted the arrow to stay in the turkey doing damage as it tried to get away. He thought that the practice blade would penetrate but not pass thru. I was not sure what to think of this or was this actually not a bad idea. Has anyone ever heard of something like this? Just thought I would mention this on here.
