Default Let's see some Snow blind setups

Here is mine that I setup today; I am hoping to lure the girlfriend out in this extreme, below 0 weather, by providing her a shelter.:shade: This is a Double Bull-pre Primos Matrix, with a Double Bull snow cover sewed on. I have 3 ground blinds, so I decided to sew this cover on, as they are a pain to put off and on. I had a doe walk by at 10 yds tonight, and she paid 0 attention to me. No windows netted, and I will never net them. I feel that this isn't important in these winter setups, as the timber is full of white and black anyway. Snow is constantly changing the deer's environment, and they don't have a chance to get used to a certain look, like they do in the fall and other times of the year before the snow falls. It was 2 below 0, but I stayed warm in my new Hardcore Hunter Inferno Suit(my invention that I am considering marketing), my 2000 gram Irish Setter Snow Claws/with Icebreaker boots over them. I couldn't believe how perfectly warm I was, sitting out in this cold weather for 3 hours this pm. I have finally defeated cold weather with my suit and footwear. Not a tiny bit cold. Zilch. I also devised ground blind locks for all of my blinds, and you can see in the pics. It took me 2 hours to hand sew this cover on my blind, but well worth it. The blind opens and packs just as a normal blind does, and the ground blind lock is permanently on the blind too and doesn't interfere with packing or setup.
Let's see some setups. Pics taken at 5-10 yds

Door sewed

Bottom even sewed

Padlocked and secure

HC, that's a very nice snow blind set up! I was wondering why you wouldn't just hunt from a tree stand in that area. I did see that noisy azz shag bark hickory though. Never mind. I re-read your thread.

Thanks...the industry is long overdue for a high quality winter blind commercially made. I had to make mine.
