Tim, The Carbon Express Maxima line of arrows are very good arrows, and some of the best I have ever shot. Easton also makes some quality arrows that completely span the weight spectrum depending on what you are looking for. ACC Pro Hunters, FMJ's, Flatline shafts, and even the Epics are a good shaft for the money. Beman also has a good shaft for the money. Goldtip is worthy of consideration too.
I don't think you will find any shafts that will consistently take the abuse you mention without damage.
While I think the QS st's are a good vane, I think they are over rated and Not worth the money. You can Not beat Feathers for guiding an arrow. Blazers will also do a nice job for less money that the QS's.
If your strings and cables are 5 years old, it is way past time to replace them. I currently am running a special on Vapor Trail strings and cables with clear Halo servings. I also sell lots of different shafts, and completed arrows that are not currently listed on the website. Hopefully that will be changing soon.
Bottom line if I can help anyone just let me know, and if you just need advice that is always Free!
Dan
