Default Archery league in Michigan...

I was wondering if anyone was a local from the Macomb area of Michigan and knew of an archery league I could join. If age makes a difference, I' m 16. Thanks.

Mike,

Try Ultimate Archery on Gratiot in Clinton Twp. I know they run indoor leagues. Also try Starlight Archery on Groesbeck in Warren. They have a 20yd " Paper" league that starts around August. I have shot on the league at Huron Pointe Sportsmans Club in Lennox Twp. Also try Full Quiver Archery in Goodells. It' s the best place to shoot indoors and out! That' s just my opinion, though. Plus, Don Prater (the owner) is a top notch shooter, and all around good guy!

Hope that that gets you started.

6gun has covered the are pretty well.

I can only offer up two I' ve shot in.

Ultimate Archery offers 5 spot, and indoor 3-D pretty much through out the week. If you stop in there, tell Tony ya heard about here from me and 6 gun. Nice and roomy, well lighted, and various yardages to shoot from including elevated platforms.

Starlight Archery on Groesbeck in Warren really gets rocking after August. The 20 yd. paper league is more outside the box than most others, but definitely a RIOT! A great group with a lot of laughing and ribbing in a rather confined area.[&:]

I could offer up a old outdoor range located in Detroit, but you' d spend more time combat handgunning than flingin arrows....[]
