Default I'm breaking my vowel......

I've not gun hunted for 15-20 years but with the lack of action this year I'm taking the ol' model 94 30-30 to the woods tomorrow for hopefully some doe action. It's a sad day.

If its a sad day, don't do it. Hunting is supposed to be enjoyable. You may not like to hunt with a gun, thats fine, but don't go hunting with one if it makes you sad. I guess it boils down to what is more important to you: hunting with just your bow, or getting a deer. Make your choice and stick with it, either way just enjoy it.

If you had no action with the bow, what makes you feel like the gun will bring you action. Does it have a pixie wand tapped to the barrel to make the deer appear. Just poking fun at you try to get you to smile at a bad situation.

I think people get too wound up with this "bow only" or even "primitive only" vows. I myself do what I want to do. Sometimes I want to take my selfbow, sometimes even a compound, sometimes a side lock, sometimes a pistol.

I get these pics on my phone and people are so wound up with making sure I know they killed it with a bow in gun season. Not sure why people do that. Hunting can be real unenjoyable if you start to compete with other hunters. Only person you have anything to prove too is yourself.
