Just upgraded my High Country Bow to the Speed Pro. I was going to use the simple $20 pass-through rest from my old bow and my plastic 3-pin optic sight on the new bow as I bought them 10 years ago. However, since time has passed do you guys recommend I get a better rest and sight?
I am also using 5-year old carbon arrows, not sure which kind.
I would think with such a nice bow you would want a great sight and rest to go along with it.
I have never been a big fan of the shoot thru rests, others love them. At the very least, I would take a look at the newer sights out there, as they have come along way in the last 10 years.

For the trophy taker rests there is an SL (plastic) and an FC (metal). The FC also has windage adjustments and elevation adjustments. Since the FC is double the price of the SL is it worth it?
Also, how does a windage/elevation adjustment work on a rest anyway?
Myself I like the Trophy Ridge "Drop Shot" and it also allows for windage and the like. I agree though everyone here has thier own preference as to what to use..
