Default How to Scout for Deer?

New bowhunter here.

Bowhunting begins in my area in early September and since I plan on bowhunting for the first time this year what should my scounting plan be to find deer over the next 9 months?

I want to hunt from a blind so there has go to be some magical time for me to finally chose my location and set up the blind early enough, etc.

Any advice would be appreciated as to the annual ritual to scout for big bucks.

Talk to neighbors, hang trail cams, do drive by's if you have fields during feeding hours, walk through the woods looking for deer sign. there is a lot you can do
