Default Kansas Outfitters

I'm looking to do a bowhunt next season in Kansas and wanted to see if anyone had some outfitters that they recommend. I've been looking at Ross Trophy Outfitters which was on Realtree Outdoors with Bill Jordon and SEKOUTFIITERS which stands for Southeast Kansas Outfitters. Both say that getting a nonresident bow tag is close to 100%. Has anyone been to either outfitter?

Never heard of em. There is a place around my area called Republican Valley Outfitters. It is a well run outfit and they have access to LOTS of acres. I would recommend them. I think the boys from Buckventures use them.

I know of 2 outfitters in NE Kansas. They are Diamond Springs Ranch and Wolf River Outfitters.

I hunted Crawford county (where SEKOUTFIITERS hunts) and it is incredible - but not a slam dunk.

South Bourbon county holds some monster non-typicals.

Both are unit #11

I just got back from S Kansas (unit #12), small 300 ac farm - saw 5 bucks in 6 days over 150" - couldn't close the deal - incredible big buck hunting. @ $1500 for 6 days, a very good deal and plan on going again.

6 hunters max for the whole season.

I was the only one this season.

Saw stuff like this.

Bottom row taken off the property.

No rifle hunting !
