I dont think anyone on here or any REAL hunter would kill someones puppy. Some guys just seem to be out there to ruin it for the rest of us

I've had some grown dogs chase deer out from under my stand before and I have thought real hard about what I would do if those dogs did it again. I see them out there still chasing deer, but shooting a puppy -c-mon...most likely he couldn't control his temper by having a dog walk up while he was hunting most likely sealing the deal that no deer would be coming that way and decided to take it out on the puppy...kind of ridiculous!

Gotta say it - the puppy could have given him some great cover scent / motion.

The deer would be looking at this little yappy thing and concentrating on HIM - not the hunter.

Have watched deer become distracted and then engage a lone coyote it what looks like "play" - but I'm sure is more serious than that for the 'yote. The coyote moves on and the deer go back to their business with barely a twitch of the tail.
