Default First bow buck!! after 3 years of passing small ones

i shot him on the morning of the 15th. 1 year to the date of losing a big one last year. The morning started great. I had a decent buck walk under me in the dark waiting for it to get light. then i had a small 4 pointer hang around for about 20 minutes then he left and i grunted and he came back in. After he left i Grunted some more and this on came walking calmly in at about 715. he came out at 20 yards and i gave him the rage treatment and 25 yards later i watched him pile up and texted all my buddies that i needed help. i didnt go look at him until they got there and there was quite a bit of ground growage on this guy. i will be putting the tape to him soon for the scorecard but my taxidermist called and said he scored him at 167 1/8. 15 points. hes a main frame ten with split brows and one extra on one of them. plus he has a kicker on each of his G2's

What is that old saying? Oh yeah, "Good things come to those who wait."

Congrats on a dandy!

Nice buck. Great to see another LaSalle County giant. But there aren't anymore and won't be anymore so nobody else needs to bother trying to hunt there.
