Default Where did my deer go?

I've been watching a nice 10 pt. for the past month or so. I found the general area where he was, and he had made several scrapes and rubs. I placed a camera, and he was there. The problem is, for the past week, he seems to have disappeared. No new scrapes, no sightings, and no pictures. Does anyone have any idea what may be going on?

He may be chasing does all over the place. They tend to wander a bit this time of year...

I have found that 80% of the deer I get on my cam before season ar not there during the season. Like RI said, this time of year to wonder off in different areas looking for them hot does.

If he's dead, he was more than likely poached. I really don't think anyone else has been bowhunting the area. However, it does see a lot of vehicle traffic.
