I was shaking extremely alot! lol im 14 and this was my first deer! We think well get about 70 pounds of meat back! I was using a browning microadrenline compound bow 50 pounds with a trophy ridge arrow and carbon express broad heads! My dad does not hunt and i got myself into the hobby/sport of hunting and absolutley love it (: Im hooked for life! Here are some pictures! Enjoy!

I hit him pretty high but i think that is because of i was shaking like a mother trucker haha! I hit him up toward the spine but i must have cliped his lung cuz my friend when he was with me and stuff he told me i had lung blood on my arrow. he was about id say 20 23 yards from the stand when i shot him and he went about 90 95 yards and crashed in the corn i heard him from my stand it was awsome (: Best time of my life (: Im getting him made into sasauge and venison burger

WTG!! on your first deer with a bow.. I don't think you will get 70 pounds of meat, but non the less it will be good eating. Cook up them tenderloins. The tradition at my house is, first deer we have a back strap or tenderloin for dinner that night, yumyyyyy...... That feel will never go away when you get at shot and drop one... thats what it all about, the rush, and the back strap BBQ. Congrats to you....
