well first to start.. i havent been able to hunt 1 day this archery season due to work..but today i got the day off.. also i didnt have any archery equiptment anymore, but i am a twin so i used his set up.. shot it yesterday with perfect groupings.. so i wasnt worried about the equitment or not being comfortable with the bow.. was in stand at 5:30 am and hunted all day non stop.. saw 11 different bucks chasing 3 does.. 2 real nice shooters, but im no trophy hunter being on 22 years old. 2:30 came around.. used the can call and a tending grunt.. and had a little 8 point come into 11 steps.. as today will be my only day to hunt this year i was not passing up the opportunity. deer bust me and ran to 33 yards.. god held up on my scent wick and turned broadside slightly quartering away.. i let him have it.. rage 3 blade went to work.. and work it did.. didnt get that much penetration only about 10 inches or so.. got both lungs and heart although with no exit would the blood trail was amazing. a blind crippled man could follow it..not bad for only hunting 1 day.. even though it was a LONG day. will post pics when i get the camera tomorrow
