Default don't laugh.......

Ok, I am new to bow hunting, and just today assembled my Thunderhead Broadheads.
I practiced today with my field tips and got 2" groups with 4 arrows at 20 yards.
Tomorrow I practice with the broadheads.....

The dumb question I have is, do I remove the broadheads from my foam target the same way I remove the field tips?
Just pull straight back out?

Thank you so much for the help!

Thanks guys, I didn't want to ruin either the target or my arrows.

If you wanna save your target push them all the way through, unscrew the head, then pull your arrow back out and reattach your head. I always shoot my BHs into a sandy bank and use an old toothbrush to clean em after each shot. WCL

That's very good advice if you want to make that target last longer! Since I only shoot BH's (practice heads) I still end up getting a new target each season anyway.

Thanks so much guys!
I am more concerned about the BH's that the target.... the target needs replacing anyway.

I'll keep you posted on my FIRST bow hunt ever on Wednesday!

I unscrew the head to pull them out. Easier on the target, and easier on you. They can really get snarled up in the target and you end up having a hernia getting them out. Good luck on your first hunt!

Gad to hear you are practicing! I'm at home on the couch today, 73 degrees doesn't turn me on to be in the treestand.
