Default IL Double Doe!

Had some luck this morning. Got these two at ~8:30 this morning. Shot the big one first, and her fawn wouldn't leave, so she got the ride the lightning too. The big doe I shot while I was still seated, but she was directly to my left, so that worked out well. Grim Reaper through both lungs at 15 yards isn't pretty, it turns out. She made it about 25 yards, leakin' life the whole way, took about 5 drunken steps and toppled. The fawn was buzzing around, not sure what to do, and then she came through the exact same opening. I gave her the same medicine with the same result. My arrows were stuck in the ground not 18 inches apart. Grim Reapers do great work! Now, its on to big bucks, hopefully!

Mike
