Default Not what I was looking for, but HE will do...PICS

Well here is the story. I wasn't going to get to hunt today, because my wife had to work. She got a call this morning and said they were not busy and she could stay home. I have been sick this week and can't quit coughing but said what the hell. My plan was to every time I HAD to cough to rattle as loud as I could to cover up my cough. I had a spike come in about 7ish and he passed. I had to cough again so I rattled. As soon as I put the antlers down this deer came running down the hill. He came in about 70 yards and was messing around when some does came around and he started to turn to go with them. I reach up and hit the antlers just a little bit and he turned his head and started coming my way. He passed an opening at 40 yards but I have never shot that far so thought better of it. He circled and got about 15 yards from me but I could draw and had no shot. He knew something was wrong and turn and went back from where he came. I thought he would take the same route back and knew he was going to go to that opening again. As soon as he stepped in the 40 yard opening I let him have it. He got hit by a 2 blade RAGE and man did that thing cut him up. I have never shot a RAGE but DAMN. There was blood everywhere. He went 50 yards and fell.. He is a tall 7 point. He wasn't the 10 pointer I was looking for but I am leaving for the U.P. wednesday to go duck hunting for a week and thought WHY NOT.... I will score him tomorrow....

That's a heck of a 7 point - it's bigger than my 10 point! Congratulations!
