Default arrow speed question

im looking at getting a new monster xlr8 has anyone got a way of calculating an approx arrow speed i need to stay on or under 300fps to be in our competition guidelines
so if anyone can help what arrow should i use to stay in the range of speed thanks

want to shoot it at 70 pounds with 28 to 29 inch arrows????

What is your DL. If it is 30", I calculated that a 490gr arrow would put you right at 300fps.

My Omen is shooting 287fps at 66#'s with a 530gr. arrow! If I bumped it up to 70 it would be all over 300fps with that HEAVY arrow setup. Its for sale if you are interested in it.

yep draw is 30 inch i would be interested but it would cost to much to get it to me im in florida this dec so im picking up the monster then thanks for the info

IBO says it shoots 360... You better shoot a heavy thick aluminum arrow.. bigger the arrow the more you have to crack a ring!
