Question Bringing Them Closer

What is your go-to tactic for coaxing in a buck that is within sight but chooses to hang up and observe the area? I have had two P/Y bucks within 60 yards, one in the open and the other in heavy brush. Both reacted (stopped and starred) to grunts and short, light sparring but then just wandered off. I kept watching my DW side but nothing ever appears within 50 yards. Advice?

I've had good success with "here deer deer deer deer deer..." repeat as needed under your breath.

Like was said they don't live that long by being curious...got to give them a reason to come over...try being more aggressive with the rattling or grunts.
