Default My Pa rut buck

Well, I thought I'd act like a nut and go into the woods with it raining heavily at 6:00AM this morning. I sat throught it and saw 3 other smaller bucks in the rain by 1:15PM when this guy was cruising through! A nice 23yrd shot and he went about 60-70yrds. The pre-rut is under way now!

I think it's awesome when somebody hangs in there and is rewarded for it. WTG!! I love midday hunting.

Nice.. still no chasing and only seeing deer within the last 30 minutes of light here... Saw a doe by herself and no bucks following. Had an 8 point cross her trail about an hour later and not stop to sniff or anything..
