Default The New Bowtech Destroyer for 2010

I wouldn't normally link another website but since these pictures of the new Destroyers are allowed only there, you'll need to check them out there.

Link: Click Me. Or CLICK ME for specific link to Photos

You'll have to wade through all the BS, particularly speculation and bashing but there are several pictures available.

When are they going to be released to the dealers? Have you gotten to shoot one yet? I love this time of year, the rut is getting close and the bow companies are bring out the new toys. I feel like a kid during Christmas!!!

k b,

The dealers have gotten their packets and are placing orders. It shouldn't be long until they start rolling into the dealers but exact dates are yet to be seen. One dealer mentioned 3 weeks but....that's hard to tell.

I have not shot one. Matt / PA has shot it and I'm getting his trusted feedback. " Like no bow you have ever shot before" is just one of the things he's told me.

I hear it's smooth, very smooth draw which is very rare in a "speed" bow with a nice valley, solid back wall and virtually no shock similar to the center pivot line.

" When you draw it, you'll wonder where the speed comes from but it is there!" is another quote.

Looks like a sweet bow! I might just have to trade in my General for the new Destroyer! Especially it's got the draw length up to 31"

Seems common knowledge is the Sentinel and Admiral will be receiving the new FLX-Guard.

There is also a bow called the Soldier. It's a tweaked Edge and should really sell for the adjustments it has in draw length.

So they are going away from binary cams back to split bus?

I thought the point of bowtech being a binary cam was to keep timing?

With the "axles" and the bus cable it's being called a Overdrive Binary Cam. The two cams still work with one another to keep perfect synchronization. Also what this does is deliver exceptional speed in a smooth drawing bow.
