Default Draw lenth

Ok when i was at the range yesterday i noticed something odd with my draw. Seems if my arm is at full draw the string and peep is a good 4 or 5 inchs from my face. My understanding of it is the string should be resting on my face and the peep just away from my eye. I wonder if the draw is not set right and thats whay i move some and tend to have a jerk to the left every so often. When i draw my arm should be locked or almost lockss out right not 1/4 bent right or am i wrong. If it needs changed should i wait till after season. i am guessing if my draw changes my arrows will be to short. I just bought 175 dollars worth of arrows. What are your thoughts.
Also when i had the peep fixed if they put the bow in a bow press could if or they have messed the draw up

I like a lot of bend in my left arm when I draw. You might like it completely straight. Comfort for yourself should be priority. I like to think about draw length with a kisser button. Imagine the string meeting the corner of your mouth, and that's about right.

I have never had any trouble maybe i did not notice yet. It seems to me it was not always like that. I think i might go to gander or the local shop to have my draw measured to check. What would be the best way for me to check my self. I have heard people say hold your arm out to your side or straight out. When i was shooting i was to my side. Maybe i was to straight side to side. The only other thing i can think of is my arm grew a few inchs but i doubt that.

I like it been some to. That why why my string never touchs my arm. Not that i hate that hurt ouch feeling well alittle. More to me if the string or arrow touches anything theres a chance it will move my arrow. I have not hit my arm in years. Maybe it was just because i noticed it. Heck the day i was having it could have been just a reason for why a was shooting so bad. Going to hit the range today or tomorrow and see what happens.

Tim,

Go to a archery shop that knows what their doing and have them look over your entire set up, I think this could save you a ton of questions.
