Question Who can help me??

Here's the story. I want to try a mock scrape on a property I just got permission for, so, with that being said who can help me out and tell me what I need to do to make it happen and what I gotta do to make one.

Anyone who can give me some help I'd greatly appreciate it.

Ryan.

Be careful about your scent when making the scrape and also while hunting it. Consider that a buck will probably approach from downwind, so your stand needs to be placed cross-wind from the scrape. Make the scrape in a spot where a deer would make one, overhanging branch and all. You can attach a limb to a tree or sapling if need be. Use a stick or even a rake to make the scrape, not your feet or hands.

Then you have a choice of commercial scrape scents. Plain, unscented ammonia works from what I've read. Many people urinate in mock scrapes. Scrape drippers are popular. I add fresh deer droppings, which generally aren't too hard to find.
