Default It's been bad so far

My bow season has been really bad so far.
Last year I went almost every day and had seen at least five deer everytime I sat. I took 7 last year and on the last day I had a group of 21 doe come in at one time.
This year, New Jersey allowed crossbows and Sunday hunting.
I have only seen four does and a four pointer the whole month.
I am sitting in the same trees as last year and putting in even more time since the Sunday bow hunting. I am the only hunter in these woods, since it is all surrounded by houses and I have permission to be there. The last five outings I haven't even seen a deer.
In another spot I had an eight pointer come in too late ( got dark before in range ), then I found out that another hunter took him at a time I wasn't there.
Hopefully my Ohio gunning trip will bee much better.

My woods is loaded with them.
I didn't use any bait last year, just got on good spots and that's the same way I am doing it this year.
It's got me stumped and frustrated.
Regular season ends in five days, I'll get another 30 days with permit.
A permit and a buck stub will be another $58.00
