I just got a idea. They have a lifeline thing for sick and old people. FI you fall or get hurt you push a button and here comes the right people to help. Why not have a gps monitor for hunters. Shows the spot the hunter is at gives a map and directions to get there. Seems it would help safe lifes

They have things like this.

They're called personal locator beacons.

Ive heard of SPOT. It runs about 99.00 or so. The new one uses GPS messaging to alert and allows you to let your friends and family now receive a custom message along with your GPS location with a push of a button. Use this feature as a secondary OK message or transfer your personal help alert to this message function if you are using a SPOT Assist service on your Help button. Also has GPS tracking SOS 911 incase of an emergency the correct personel know where you are and how to get to you as fast as possible. I think this thing would be a life saver. I may invest in one. There are so many features with it that are just unbelievable.

They run between $150.00 and $200.00 and have a $9.99 a month fee for the service. Don't work well in dense cover...per their add.
