Default This season sucks

Maybe the deer are out and about...who knows, here in East Central Illinois 90% of the crops are still in the field, and with nothing but rain the last 2-3 days and more on the way, it could be middle of November before the deer are back in the woods where they belong.

They will be in the woods guys, thats where the trees for rubbing are, and the edges for scrapes and licking branches, Now get out there and HUNT!

Yeah, things aren't looking good around here either.... It's going to take better part of a week just to dry out enough before they can get back in the field.... And that's IF/once it actually stops raining....

We saw a ton of deer last Saturday out moving in the cooler temps. This weekend should be more of the same, hopefully better...

When that rain stops, I would make sure I was out there. Thats when I see the most deer, is right after it stops raining, literally minutes after the rain stops and the sun comes out. Its like someone opens the gate and lets them out, they flock the fields right after a rain.
