I have to be honest, I HATE hunting in the wind!! Other than heavy rain, it's my least favorite condition to hunt in. However, this past Wednesday it was seriously windy and I was actually going to leave the woods early (5:30PM), when something told me to stick it out since I'd been in the woods all day. At 6:10PM I got a 25 yrd shot at a decent doe and put meat in the freezer! I do believe that was the windiest (45 mph gusts) day I ever hunted. I still hate the wind. Just saying.
