Exclamation early season bucks

i have around 150-175 acres to hunt around my house in missouri and ive done my homework and hunted hard but i just cant figure out them bucks. most of it is timber and in some places real thick but ive prollly got 20-30 of it in field and food plots...

any tips?

Deer really like the thickets directly adjacent to open field, look for a scrape out on the edge of the field and set up on it down wind a few yards, hide and wait.
May not come to it every day, may take a day or two waiting for him to show depending on where he is in his travels.

I generally don't shoot doe's when sitting on scrapes.
