Default 1st deer of season down

I saw alot of deer this evening. Seen at least 3 bucks, two of which were around 110" 8 pointers. This doe came in around 6:30 and I nailed her. She was close. So, in my anxiety I hit her a little high and spined her. I was upset about tha but she is down and out. Here is the pic.

Nice doe! Don't worry about the spine shot, I did the same thing. You better watch that dog, he looks like he wants to eat the backstraps out of that thing

I spined my first of the season too. Dropped in its tracks and I put a second arrow right in the boiler. Makes for a short tracking job. Congrats!

Way to go. Better watch that dog, he looks like he could eat the deer by himself.
