Shot it at 20 yards Saturday evening. It was within 10 feet of where I killed my first archery turkey last year. Had the girlfriend in the blind with me and wanted her to shoot, but she was too nervous and gave me to green light. Busted her right in the hips and she made it about 75 yards and buried under a brushpile.
Shotgun season opened Oct. 1 and I did that all weekend and never could connect. It's funny that I take the bow and they just walk right to me then.
