Default Early season strategies thru pre rut

I will be in the tree as much as I can this year, but not as much as previous years (work and playing bus stop dad), so what are some strategies that you do?

Obviously, playful rattling may work in mornings and afternons near food sources, scents arent really a factor quite yet, and along with summer patterns changing, how do you pass the time in stand...and what works?

Im pretty much set up in pinch points and known bedding trails and dont plan on making a sound while spending my time waiting....anyone else have strategies that work pre rut?

Im talking calls, etc. Not hunting mast and food sources. Do fawn bleats help? early morning playful rattling? fake scrapes and doe pee or buck pee in the scrapes?

Whats your game?

Do not follow where the path may lead...go instead where there is no path and blaze a trail!
