Calling all PA Bowhunters - Going out the First Day ?
OK, alot of us talk about hunting the rut when the bucks are chasing and the leaves are on the ground. I love to hunt the opening day more for tradition as well as just being able to be in the woods....some may go, some may not.
So, will you be out in the treestand or blind opening day at some point ??

You bet your butt I will be out. The morning I will be taking my father in law out for his first hunt, and the afternoon I will be set up on a sweet spot that I have been working on.

Rob how have deer sightings been down your way? You have one picked out yet? Any shooters of camera...?
Been quite slow on trail cameras for me, but I've spotted a few shooters.
Deer sightings are down however, there are some real shooters wandering around. I have no cameras out, I don't own a digital one and each year I vow to own one and put it out, that was last year, maybe next year.
Good luck on the few you've spotted. We know their out there, now we just need to be out there too. Tick, tock.
I will be hunting two different stands. Might try to take one of the youngins along for the am hunt, then it is of to my new spot in the evening..... Got my eye on a non-typical
