Default GREAT opening day...

Well the brand new Matthews Drenalin did its job on 9/19/09 (doe opener in WMU 5C, PA). This is my first ever double and boy was it exciting. I got both of these nannies out of the same tree one in the am and one in the pm. The area is extremely overpopulated and my harvest target for this particular stand is 5 female deer...off to a great start.

Nice work bud. I am in 5C as well, nice to get out a little earlier isn't it. I scored on my first doe of the season on the 21st. Nice pic, great job on the double!

Congratulations on a great double.

One question however, you said you shot the first one in the am, and didn't skin it in these temps? Just curious.... one should cool the meat as fast as possible. Was that not an option?

Again, congratulations and I'm envious of your earlier opener.

Next Saturday for me.
