Bow Problem need help??

I went to shoot the bow today and when I pulled it back it was making a small squeaking sound. It has never done that before. I did go out in the tree on Tuesday and it did rain could that be the problem..and is there a fix? Thanks


Also what can happen if the bow is dried fired?

Rain can definitely cause squeaks in bows. Might be in the axles, could be in the cable slide etc...likely the axles which may need lub'd again.

And dry fires?

Axles can bend, cams can bend or warp, cables and strings can break, creep. Limbs can crack, risers can bend, risers can crack. Name it, it can happen.

A bow when shot is quite violent, dry fired and it's even worse.

local bowshop here in maine says remoil

Yeah like they said go through and lube everything up to see if it helps!!
