Default Bad Rage Experience??

Last year I shot a couple of deer with rage broadheads and had excellant results! But does anyone have a negative/ faulty problem with them???

Yes, I bought to packs of them last year due to all the hype, and sat in my tree every time i hunted with them only to push the blades in every 2 seconds. Lost total confidence in my shot thinking they would open in flight or when i picked the bow up to use. I shot one deer with them and the blade broke off.....crazy!! And to think they are $40 bucks a box

I am shooting slick tricks now...

Tons of people do. Tons of people don't.

I myself, injured a deer last year with them, one that I never found. I will never know if it was my fault or the broadhead, but after reading up on them some more I switched to fixed blades.

I had a 3 blade deploy before it got to a doe resulting in my worst sleepless night ever. Never found her and Boy was I ever mad about it. I dunno, Freak accident but poor timing seeing as how it was the first time I had ever flung one at an animal. Found her 3 months later about 2.25 miles from where I shot her. Anyhow, if you like em Shoot em. I have some 2 blades I got for free so I'm gonna use the last one up. some People here Love them.

On this site, you'll get a TON of negative response. Seems a bunch of people love them and a bunch of people hate them. For whatever reason we have quite a few haters here.

i talked to a guy who owns a bow shop and he said , if they sit on the shelf for a long time the rubber o rings will get dried out and become brittle. thats why they have 3 extra o rings come with.... that could be some peoples problem????

i use them and love them. i will say this though, just make sure to replace the o rings when they dry out. it is simple up keep. i have shot many animals with my set and they keep on performing. i just clean'em up and put'em back in my quiver.

yes that could be one problem tho.....o-rings will dry out over long times...all season in quiver etc. otherwise the rest is A+
